This article explains how to add and activate a Wireless Broadband home phone call divert.

Note: To ensure you are charged at the correct rate, call us on 0800 800 966 to add Call Divert to your account (out of bundle charges apply if this is not set up).

Types of diverts

Type

Description

ImmediateAll calls to your phone go straight to the alternative number you want your calls diverted to
BusyWhen your phone is busy calls are diverted to an alternative number
No answerYour phone will ring for a set period before the caller is put through to the alternative number
Not reachableWhen your phone is switched off or outside of coverage, calls are diverted to an alternative number

On another call (Busy)

  1. Lift the handset
  2. Dial * * 6 7 * [area code] [phone number] #
  3. Press the call button

No answer

  1. Lift the handset
  2. Dial * * 6 1 * [area code] [phone number] #
  3. Press the call button

Phone turned off (Not Reachable)

  1. Lift the handset
  2. Dial * * 6 2 * [area code] [phone number] #
  3. Press the call button
